This map shows the location of Smalls on W10th Street, about a hundred steps west of Seventh Avenue, near the non-Euclidian intersection of W10th Street and W4th Street. Parallel lines do meet in Greenwich Village.
   

There are so many ways to get to Smalls by subway.

Take the #1/9 train to Christopher Street, and walk a half block up to W10th Street and a hundred feet west for Smalls. This is the easiest.

You can also take the A,C,E,B,D,F,V,S train to West 4th St. and walk west from 6th Avenue to 7th Avenue.

Just as good is to take the #2 or #3 express to 14th St and 7th Avenue. It's only a short walk down 7th Avenue to W10th Street .
